Hoovering Sand

i have recently changed to sand, and because sand is to light and fine the 'crud' sits ontop of it and makes a right mess

when i try to vaccum it i seem to get more sand than dirt XD

is there a teqniqe people use or do people also suck up a bag full of sand lol

Dont put the gravel cleaner into the sand or you will suck up loads of sand. Like the title of the thread, you just hoover over the sand. Lightly touch the sand and the muck will be sucked up with little sand. Not sure how to explain it more.

When I had sand I used to waft the vac just above the crap so it floats up and gets sucked through. Once I got used to sand I could just vac up without doing that though and taking next to no sand with it.
