i had honey gouramis and the best tankmates that i had together with them were dwarf gouramis and guppies

don't mix small gouramis with big ones, especially not the blue or gold gouramis. They will kill the smaller species.
Honey Dwarfs will get along fine with small species of tetra, small barbs, danios, small catfish like corydoras & peaceful dwarf cichlids like the Apistogrammas.

yes i definately agree with colin.

dont mix them.

swarf gouramis are prone to infections anyway so keeping them alive is hard enough

really ive been keeping them togothere for about 3 years now and my blue, opaline and pearl gouramies never bothered them.

Pearl gouramis aren't that aggressive but male blue/ gold gouramis are nasty and will try to kill smaller male gouramis and Bettas. You might have female blue/ opaline gouramis and they are much more peaceful. It's still preferable not to mix the big and small fish tho :)

Thanks for the info guys.

After reasding what youve put she has decided against the blue`s.

We arent going to be adding anymore to the tank i dont think.

It looks ncie as it is and they all have lots of space to do their own thing.

Just going to get it planted up well, have a few in already but it could do with some more.

If anyone could suggest some nice plantd that would be great.

Thanks for the info so far.

Mum is loving her new fish :D

Assuming you have a light on the tank then try Ambulia, Elodia, Hygrophilla polysperma and other Hygrophilla sp, Ludwigia, Swordplants, & Narrow Vallis.
