My wife called today while I was at work and mentioned that our honey gourami was messing with my 5 yr. old daughters tiny female betta. I haven't seen any aggression on behalf of the gourami in the last 3 weeks they've been together, should I remove the betta or do you think everything will be O.K.

Myself I'd try rearanging the tank a little bit, add a few more plants and break the line of sight between the two fish, if that doesn't work then you have no choice but to remove the female betta into a smaller tank.

Went ahead and removed the gourami and put him into the 55 gal. it seems to have worked now all he has to pick on is some zebra danios and rosey red minnows if he can catch them that is.
