i currently have 2 female gouramis - an opaline and a gold (3-4 inches long). the opaline isn't very happy as she gets chased a lot by the gold. i'm thinking of taking her (opaline) back to the lfs and getting something else instead

i saw some tiny cute honey gourami and wondered if the gold gourami would be likely to harrass them too?

When adult Gouramis have established themselves in a tank it is often hard to introduce new Gouramis of any species/strain IME. I tried to add a fully grown Kissing Gourami to a tank with a few other species and although he was 2-3 times the size the current occupants became highly terriotorail so IMO if your Gourami have been in there a while and matured it is risky to add more unless you can move them to other tanks if the need arises. :)

Honey gourami are some of the more peacful and not as agressive gouramis, Golds are IMO the most aggressive spieces so they probably should not be housed together.
