I have created my own disgn for a sponge filter. It's assemble literally took 30 sec!!!!!!!!!!!
Supplie: filter pad, airline tubing, pump, 3 inch pvc pip( 1 inch in diameter)

Step 1: cut 2, 1 inch wide strips of filter pad

Step 2: take 1 strip, roll it into a tight nit ball, and sit in one side, and let it fill in the spot

Step 3: take the other strip, in the middle put the airline, and then do step 2.

Step 4: Plug in and your are good to go.

I am using it to filter my fry tank. It is working well. Please post comments, critizem, possible improvement....
If you know how to assemble it, it literally takes you 30sec to assemble. All questions are appreciated.
