Homemade Hideing Place For Fry.

I know that I am a newbie at this,but....I read that you could make your own cover for your fry to hide. It said to wrap some yarn around a thick book about 20 times, tie a knot around on side, then cut the other to make long like strings. Then you can boil them in water so the dye won't hurt the fish. Well I made two of them one is cut short and laying on the bottem of the tank. And the other is long and hanging down the side of the tank. So I hope that it works. I have a dalmation molly that looks like she is almost ready to give birth.

That will work. As long as you provide nooks and crannies, fry should be able to hide okay. Nooks and crannies...maybe an English Muffin?

I use Hornwort, Excellent stuff for fry.
