home-made breeder net

ok, so now that i *want* some fry to survive, everything keeps eating them

if i were to construct my own breeder net to put a single female guppy in for several days until she gives birth... what size would you guys recommmend? i was thinking 6"x12"x8" (~2.5g) with floating plants on top to obscure the lights.

also, how often do you think i'd need to vacuum the bottom?

Yeah i agree it sounds like a good size too, keep us updated on how you go because i have always thought breeding nets in lfs's have always been a bit on the small size- if they were a bit bigger they'd be perfect.
