I was at Home Depot yesterday and found fountain pumps. Can you use fountain pumps as powerheads?

Sometimes . Some fountain pumps are robust enough to survive the highly corrosive saltwater environment, but others will rust and fail miserably. Tough to say which would and which wouldnt, but I'd rather use a tried and true pump designed for saltwater
