Homade light?

Well I have a lame with a blue light it's a desk lamp with a blue light can I use it or will it harm my fish?

I doubt it. I have two blue sprectrum bulbs I was using on my Kuhli tank. The only thing it did was make already shy fish hide even more. My Kuhlis came out when I used a brighter set of bulbs. Most fish shouldn't be bothered though IMO.
