Hole in the head?

Not sure , but this will bump it back to the top so someone who may know can have a look .

Is your tank high in nitrates ?

High nitrates contribute to hole in the head .

To be safe how about so small daily water changes until you know for sure .

ive seen oscars in pet shops with that and they sell them so im not sure if it is anything bad

I have treated it and doing water changes regularly but it doesnt seem to be going??

Losi, yes that oscar does have HITH. I would say that a water change of 30 % every other day will heal it up unfortuantly this oscar is looking at pretty rough road for the rest of his life because if the diet and or the water quality dropps for a prolonged time then he will get it again. really IMO meds are useless the only way to do it is to make sure his diet is top notch and the everyother day water changes
