Hole In The Head

i have noticed that my femal Gourami has devolped a fleshy area, i think it is hole in the head but im not sur, anyway i thought that it would improve in time but all that has happened is that she has passed it on th my male

is this hole in the head?
how do i treat it?
will it pass on to any more of my fish?

I found out that it is not hole in the head just some bacterial thing that gouramis are prone to.
does anyone know how to treat this kind of bacterial infection?

Looks like an ulcer to me they are pink and can have a circling of white dead skin around the edges.
Yes a bacterial med like anti internal bacteria by interpet.
