Hole in fin

Hi just looked in on my goldfish and he seems to have a very small hole at the back of the top fin.

I have just administered a dose of finrot number 9 (suitable for cold water and tropical)

Water params are spot on, he is in a 20 gallon with false plants and a rock arch way.

can anyone suggest anything else

oh i have also added a small airstone for extra airation will the treatment is in

he may have caught it or been nipped by anotther fish

there is no other fish in the tank and nothing has been added since the tank went live almost 2 months ago now. i am clue less as it def wasnt there yesterday as i always sit and watch the tank to chill out after work
