I may be getting a picture frame aquarium thats 71" long and 6"1cm off the wall. Fish wise am i just restricted to guppies? whats else could i put in it?

(please not just the common, neons, and things)

Don't think these sort of things are well received on this forum as any serious fish keeper wouldn't give them wall space!

Why not just get a picture, that's what frames are for :p

Thank you kind lady, I nearly retracted my comments as argumentative :good:

 Doresy, you always make me giggle!
I thought it was just me that didn't like them but seems I'm not alone. Big old fish tank on a stand, that's the way to go!

hey Stang1........ ;)

Well i have 7 normal tanks and loads of betta tanks so i wanted somthing different and i dont want a column aquarium anymore.

I can understand that Betta5 but the wall aquariums just don't seem suitable for any fish in my opinion. I know a lot of them are quite wide but the depth of them is just too small.

so guppies are unstuiable fish there only like 1" and the tanks 6" off the wall, maybe i will just get a mirror for the place and look at myself much better!

I wouldn't keep any fish in one to be honest but like I said that's just my opinion.
I think you should go for the mirror! ;)

Oh common! Put some thought into it. It can work. if it is 6cm off the wall you could at least put some fish that only stay one inch long in it. It isn't 'prime' so to speak but it CAN work.

Yeah, even though they may not be the best, I'm sure any small fish would be ok in it. Something that's not very active, like danios, but smething that will still stay tiny enough so the width won't be a problem.
Guppies should be ok, I'd only get males though since you wouldn't want it to get overcrowded quickly with a bunch of fry from male/females mating all the time.
