so i had the blueberry yam(also called lavender) hmpk pair that i got from jaded last week in the divided 5 1/2 gallon spawn tank. well this morning the female decided to jump the divider and before i noticed they started spawning. by the time it was over he had beaten the snot out of her, and there are only about 20-50 eggs in the nest that i can see. i fed him just afew minuts ago and he ate more than usual, but im worried that he might be eating the eggs. whats the best way to tell if he is eating the eggs and if he is how should i handle it?? iv got a picture of the female that jaded sent me but no picture of the male. (she looks more boyish than he does) so heres bella.

if anyone could help me a bit that would be great.

I've never heard of that happening...not the jumping so much as what she jumped.

well the only way to see him eat the eggs is to watch carefully. if he starts eating hem he probably wont stop so you will have to remove him. then leave the eggs were they are and treat the water with meth blue, or some other antibacterial. Just use 1/2 the dose. you can even put the eggs on a floating tupperware lid with water in it so they cant sink. should work.

If you dont have a cover over they easily jump, keep him in as long as you dare, you should still have a few left
