yeah im pretty sure they could stay together,
you should look up each fish you want to get to find out info on it
discus are pretty hard to take care of, but then i never had discus before

Pictus cats would freak discus to death, discus get really stressed by over active tankmates and really wont like the pictus cats stroking them with their whiskers. The only cats id recomend keeping with discus are corys or plecs.

I would agree with CFC, Discus don't like any fish that is very active and a fast swimmer, it would stress them out and cause health problems and eventually death. I use to have a pictus cat and it would never stop swimming and is quite difficult to catch... The best tankmates for discus would be any shoal of small tetras such as neons, cardinals, and rummy's etc....
