I feed hikari micro pellet as a daily food to my fish. Im just wondering whether the kuhlis and cories get some or not as they are slow sinking pellets and i never see the kuhlis eat. Ill try to feed 1 hour after the tank light has been switched off for an hour but do i need algae disks to make sure cories and kuhlis get fed?

You have several options.

I'm certain that they'd appreciate some algae wafers. Do get those.

As for the pellets... soak them in the bulb of a turkey baster until they are saturated with water, and then use the turkey baster to deliver the food straight to the bottom. Try to use a certain area each time so that they know exactly where their food will be. They'll quickly train to that spot.

You can also use that same method for frozen foods, only thaw and rinse the frozen foods in a brine shrimp net before placing in the tank.

A varied diet is key.

You would not want the same pellets every day for the rest of your life!
