High Temperature Dithers?

tbh these will only get to 2" max so could just as easily get munched as Cardinals or Black Neons

sorry mags forget to mention i meant the true rummynose (Hemigrammus bleheri) widley used in discus tanks and comfortable in the higher temps . H. bleheri will have more red coloration on the head and appear skinnier than the other species.

aside from loaches which would probably only cause u grief should the s. daemon spawn (plus they would mainly occupy the bottom which might not aid in calming the cichlids), i can only think of adding a group of 5+ female bettas (or perhaps some other gourami). they wont school, but they will swim around the top of the tank and should be large enough to avoid being eaten (5-7cm)

although i did think that some of the guinean rainbowfish were able to take fairly high temperatures
