what the best thing to do to lower nitrate(not nitrite)in my tank

I think most people will tell you that waterchanges more often is better than anything, plants also help to reduce nitarte., i have personally used loads of products to drop nitrate and none seem to work..

How high is your nitrate and what fish do you keep?
