I have not been over feeding, and I am using Amquel to make it go away. But it seems to not go away, and it has gotten higher and higher since last week. And there are no dead fish in the tank.

Have you tried doing a large water change?

Have you added any new fish lately, how often and what percentage water changes are you doing? Have you tested your tap water to see what if any nitrate reading that has? 60 isn't too much too worry about, I've read that anything below 100 is ok but the lower the better(under 40 being preferable), you just need to figure out what's causing it.

Also what fish have you got in the tank, I'm assuming by tank size:25 you mean gallons? and what filter do you have?

I just did a water change. No fish lately, and yes my tank is 25 gallons, and I am using a AquaClear 50 gallon filter. Oh, and I have a salt water tank.

Well I know nothing about salt water unfortunately  , perhaps post this in the marine section as you'll probably get better / more accurate advice :good:

Sorry I couldn't be of much help, hope you get an answer / solution soon :D

Try testing the tap water, it may have nitrates in them. What fish are in the tank? Any LR or corals? Any other problems?

Ryan

I am doing a water change again tomorrow. What is in my tank is, a Coral Beauty, a Sixline Wrasse, a Cleaner Shrimp, and some Mushrooms.
