High Nitrate In Tank Help !

can any one help

i have a jewel 180 tank and have had healthy fish for a while but have being on hol and a friend has looked after tank

did water change as norm yesterday 4 b and q buckets tested water today amonia and nitrite ok but nitrate sky high 100

i have a few blooming plants but lost kissing gourami yesteday

i have jewel filter with 1 course 1 fine 1 green 1 black and 1white

how can i get it down ?

do you recomend any chemicals or reduce feeds as i feed flake in morning and 3 frozen blocks in evening

Cut down on feeding, and some daily water changes, as don't want to alter it to fast that is stresses the fish, good luck.
