HIGH KH

I have just completed my water tests only to find i have a very high kh and gh values GH 200 PPM and KH 280 PPM.

i have had the tank set up about 6 months and till now the only real problem has been a high phosphate level, this has been recified via filtration.

I regulary change the water with my local aquarium suppliers r/o water and was told that this should lower gh levels as i live in a chalky water area.

Can anyone advise me what i need to do to rectify this.

all the fish seem fine and all other levels tested are ok.

You might consider taking your water to a LFS to have it tested.

As it is not possible for GH to be less than KH, I would guess that one of your test kits is fouled in some way...
