i recently removed the rock work where my male firemouth established his territory in one of the holes.

he was quite calm before, but now his tail and anal fins are clamped and he seems nervous.

should i place the rock work back in?

(i removed it because the male firemouth was aggressive towards and kept chasing the female firemouth)
