Hi all. You folks all have great aquariums and creative ideas, salute to all of you
I am trying to put a small aquarium on my office desk, and am interested to have a "clean" tank with no equipment in the tank.
My choice of tanks are the NanoCube 6gal, or the BioCube 8gal.
Since the Nano is almost half of the price of the Bio, I'd most likely go with the Nano.
My goals are :
1. To put a little CO2 diffusor at the bottom of the 1st filter compartment where water is coming from the surface skim. When CO2 comes UP it gets pounded by the water coming DOWN inside those sponge filter, hopefullly I'll get perfect CO2 dissolve rate. (CO2 will come from paint ball canister and needle valve)
2. Hide the heater somewhere in the back.
3. Upgrade the light to 27W or 2x27W if I can fit them in.
My local HomeDepot has a desk lamp fixture that uses the 27w CF bulb for $20, which I will tear apart and use it as a retorfit kit.
What do you guys think ?
Thanks a lot for comments.
