Hi My name is Lorraine, i bought a 27 and half gallon uk. foot tank a little over a week ago think i got over excited, i got my water cheaked 5 days after i had the tank put everything in the water that i should of etc etc, i have 6 platys and 2 angel fish in there, they seem fine phew,,i also have a 3 foot tank with no fish doing the fishless cycle longer this time, and also a small hospital tank that is fishless doing a cycle, i have bought a water testing kit after reading about them here, so will cheak the water soon, what i would like to know is i would like to get 2 goramis emm i know i spelt that wrong, i will not buy until i have cheked the water, but if all is ok would it be alright to buy them so soon or should i leave it?

hi lorraine, welcome. if i were you i'd wait a while before adding more fish to your aquarium. as you havnt had it set up long, allow it settle down for a couple more days then see how the fish are doing. how big is your tank in feet?

Hi thanks for the welcome, i am not going to get any fish until i have tested my water, my tank is length 32 inch height 18 inch depth 14inch

my 2 nd tank which is running a fishless cycle at the mo and wont be ready for awhile yet is 36 inch length, height 18 inch,15 inch depth

Also have a small fry/hospital/ quarenteen tank is 30 L

if you test for ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte then post the results, people will be able to advise you on whether it's safe to add more fish yet
