Hello. I've had a 27 gallon tank for over a year now. has some plants but they are not the main focus. Currently have a small school of cardinal tetras, one big pleco (don't know what species), 1 oto and a few shrimps hiding in e plants. considering adding a puffer to eat snails but don't know whether its suicidal for the shrimps :eek:

HI welcome. :thumbs:

Think you had better ask about puffers with your other fish might be a bit dangerous . -_-

Hi there Elmy;
Welcome to ttf!
Puffers are not a community fish, sorry. Unless you want to lose the rest of your community, I would advise no.
You can get other fish to help with the snail issue though, I think Darters are good for that.
Good luck, and maybe someone else may have another idea in another forum!
Welcome again! :D
