New to your boards. Been keeping fish (mostly CA/SA cichlids) over 20 years now. The learning never ends.

Welcome, what CA and SA ones do you have?

Since I began keeping them I have kept all of the common CA and SA fish you see in stores. About the only CA's I haven't kept at one time or another are the very rare (a lot more of these 'rare' fish available nowadays) or the very large, just never had the tank space. I've had a few of the larger guapote species, but only for a relatively short time. Sell 'em or trade 'em off when they get around the 5-6" mark before they get too cramped.

In australia, all ca and sa cichlids are rare it sucks how you have to give them back after 5" 6" not seeing them grow to there full size.

vip - I've seen plenty of the big fish at their full size. Plenty of friends over the years have had them. But I understand what you are saying. Maybe one day when I grow up I'll have that huge fishroom I want.
