hi my name is scott i normayl keep pets like snakes etc,the grate shop i use sells tropical fish i was going to start with cold water fish to lurn, like with my snakes, but having a quick chat with andy at the shop and i found out i dont need to but im a noob, pls can you tell me about salt water and fresh water tropicals as im not sure wich 1 to start lurning, the tank wont be masive if that helps, any vidows that are on the net that you now about would be grate as that what sticks in my minde better (if not guessed lol have dexsla)
i love brite cloures and things like sea horse and the like was going to get a cold water with things like frogs and the like.

Hi there, welcome to the forum! I would go with tropical. Saltwater is a lot more complicated and expensive. Tropical is pretty easy as long as you do your research first and come and ask lots of questions here! You can have frogs in a tropical set up and there are oodles of pretty fish to choose from. If you haven't already look through the 'new to the hobby' section - loads of brilliant info. Good luck, but beware this fish keeping is addictive
