Hi All

Suppose I'm the current new guy

Well my names Dave I'm 30 married with 2 daughters.

I have been into tropical fish for about 3 years with a one year gap.

At present I am setting up a 12 foot x 8 foot fish house. In it I have 2 two foot tanks. Eleven 18 inch tanks and to top it off in my dining room I have 5 foot tank. Like I say this is what I am setting up at present all the tanks are bare barring one 2 foot tank which came with 2 goldfish refugees which will stay in there until there lives run their course.

I am hoping to breed cory's and bristlies to start as I gain more experience I will try and breed other South American fish.

Thanks for the welcome Jams.Alaskan, Doggfather, Inchworm, Pete 28 and SpaT Si.

At present I have no fish except for 2 refugee goldfish.

I am still setting up to be honest but I am lucky enough to have a good contact for good quality wild caught stock. I have built the workshop and put electrics in shelved it out bought the tanks and other bits and bobs still need to have a seperate water supply ran into the fish-house. Then just 13 heaters and double sponge filters should do it.

So will be asking you cory fans lots of questions. I hang about on a couple of other forums which I thought were great but I think this is by far the biggest I have seen. So over the moon. Should be ready to go in next few weeks with first stocks but depending on age of fish will ultimately depend on how successful I am in getting fry. However I am in for the long haul have invested a lot of time and money to make everything just right so no point in rushing now when the finish line is near. (that was me being an adult but my inner child is desperate to see fish in there )

So once again thxfor the welcome if you click on my name I have setup a little site with pics etc on it on how my project is going I will update it as things change.
