Hiya Im new here so thought I would introduce myself

Always quite liked tropical fish, very relaxing to watch and the colours are really good, Just looking around and reading up on them at the moment but looking to start my own tank soon.

Anyway im 18 and interested in pretty much everything, and looking forward to posting some more and learn about aquariums, fish etc

You've come to the right place, and better yet at the right time - before you got your fish

There's huge amounts of info available here. I'd start out in the New to the Hobby section, and read all the stickied threads, particularly ones pertaining to fishless cycling and Miss Wiggle's setup thread. Anything linked from MW's sig is worth a read too. Those two threads will go a long way to getting you started, and will help you bypass most of the common beginner pitfalls.

And never be afraid to ask questions on any of it - the only dumb question is one that wasn't asked.

Been reading some topics and the really long one on how to start a tank, picked up some more information which is helpful

Im looking on setting up a nice natural tropical fish tank with some small coloured fish , I do like coral marine type tanks but also normal tropical fish tanks, decisions decisions...
