ok so i have 2 small goldfish have been told they grom 15 incheses i have finally perswaded my parents 2 get a tank woooooooohoooooooo but i need to no what i need filters an stuff please really important please help thanks asap

im new to community fish but have been keeping cichlids for 15 years so tank stuff i know 2 fish at 15 inches each? what kind of gold fish,

find that out fist you could go 10 gallon for now but will need probly a 20, with gold fish if you get a starter kit you will be good, walmart sells a 20 gallon starter for 99 bucks in canada, very cheap. you will get in the box every thing you need, (except gravel)fill it up, and add some gravel from the pet store. add some declorinater (follow instructions on bottle) usually you should wait 8 weeks to cycle the tank but with gold fish you will probly be fine (some one correct me if im wrong) but i believe ppl. use gold fish to cylce tanks cause they are hardy fish.... any ways you could add a large bottle of a product called cycle to the tank (dont follow intructions just dump n whole bottle you cant overdose this, its just a cycle booster, some say it helps others dont i believe it works well. any ways get the temp to what ever it needs to be at for your type of fish, generally gold fish are cool water fish i believe 74 is best for most.

you should be good, you could probly go by 1 more even have fun!!

again i know about tanks, just not gold fish, but they seem real easy......

thanks for all you comments so far dose any1 no a site for elite aquticts as i cant seem 2 find it all i can find is swimming but 3 boxes have showed up at my house an my sed just rang an said have you got your fish tank yet wohooooooo
