Hi all i am new here i was directed here by The Wolf 'thanks wolf it looks great here' Well i am in the uk am married to Roger have 1 daughter Danielle who is now 16 I have at the moment two 4 foot tanks each with 12 discus in and a few bottom fishes I am hoping to replace the two 4 foots with am 8 foot but i need to find someone who can build it with in my home as we cannot get that size through the house lol. Anyway i will go take a little look around the site a bit later on It looks great here.

Where are u then, their are many peeps that can build tanks ask a local shop as they would know

The company i work for can build tanks to any design But were based in London

OR if u find one to far away, my friend has a delivery company

and can deliver it anywhere

If you have the budget... try getting in touch with either Windsor aquatics, or fit filteration - both specialise in custom built large aquaria.

if you are close ish to london, you can do much worse than the aquatic design centre - they specialise in display tanks and have a made to measure service too.

Thanks for the welcome folks ....... i will post pics when i get chance and give a bit more info on our tanks and the fishes we have also a bit more about the plans for the 8 foot tank

Welcome. I too keep Discus fish so shall look forward to your posts. Mine are in a 4ft but it is 30 inches deep and i know one in Leeds now for sale that is 6ft long and 30 inch deep and another that is 4ft long x 2ft wide and 30 inch deep and both would be good discus tanks due to the depth.
