Hello, I'm Callie, and I'm new to this forum. I have posted several entries about a beautiful bright red Betta fish who I named Sam. Sam passed away earlier this evening, and I'm very sad and upset about it. He was my very first fish. Anyways, I thought I would post a message to say hello.

I am new, like I said, and I am also new to owning fish. My very first fish, as I said, was a male Betta fish that passed away. I may ask some questions on here that I don't see are already posted. I'm still trying to learn what there is to know about keeping fish. I have never done this before. The only fish tanks we have had in the house were either friends' that wanted us to take care of their aquariums while they were out of town, or they were my brother's, and my brother had a variety of fishes in his aquarium, including a black eel.
