Hi all at TFF,
My name is Carl.
I have recently (9 weeks) set up brand new planted  tank. An Aqua-one 620T 130 lt for tropical fish..
No idea of plant names as I chose them for thier looks & the lfs guy said they would suit .
Tank has cycled & now houses,
2 Blue Rams
2 Bolivian Rams
2 Angels
2 Swordfish
2 Mollies
6 Plattys
6 Neon Tetras
2 Bristlenose Catfish.
Not all at once, spread over 4-5 weeks
Ex 1 Redfin Shark (now returned to lfs as it had begun to be too aggressive)
Tank parameters are ; (checked weekly API test kit)
pH 7.3
Temp. 25 degrees C
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
20% Water change weekly
Diet. Flake, bloodworm(frozen), dried baby shrimp, algae pellets.
Will try to post some photos later as I need to resize them first.
Cheers,
Carl.

Hi, Thanks for the welcome.
As I said in my intro posting photos, I think have managed to put a photo in this post.
Nope! No luck. Any clues people?

Welcome! I'm also from Australia and also have a 620T. At the moment it's housing a couple of fish that I am quietly searching for a good home so I can donate them to a more appropriate environment (goldfish, got talked into them by a very persuasive LFS salesman), and then I'll be converting it to a tropical paradise. I look forward to hearing about your setup and how it's working for you, because I'm still researching some appropriate fish for that tank (being high and not very long kind of limits my choices).

Hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome.
Thanks for the link KieranBoyne, I tried it in Members tanks & pictures, with some effort ( my lack of IT knowlege) it worked .
I'll try on here.
Nice to see another Aussie here Gruntle. I considered saltwater but chose tropical due to cost.
Now trying to battle Velvet in my tank. It is now a great shade of green, I hope the treatment works.
1/ Original set-up, most plants died during cycling (reason unkown) with Samba giving his seal of approval, nice things to try and catch.
2/ Current set-up, all parameters spot on.
3/ Tank under treatment.
4/ And they are all still feeding well.
