:hi: to the forum.

I'm afraid we need a lot more info from you before we can get to the root of your probem!

How big is your tank, how long has it been set up, was it cycled, and what fish do you have, altogether?

Have you tested the water, and when was the last time you did a water change?

ok been set up for 8 weeks and all water tests ok ,its 17 gallons,we have 9 fish in all 3 mollys,3 silver dollars,2 garanes and 1 neon,we got the 2 big silver dollers of a friend outof his big tank thanks for your help

i did a water change 3 days before i put the two big ones in

I know it sounds stupid but if they are used to different food in their old home they might not recognise what you're feeding as food! or they may be used to eating at a different time to when u feed them. We bought our aquidens diadema some flippin expensive cichlid treats at Christmas and he ignored them for well over a week before he discovered he actually liked them! Keep feeding the same amount at the same time each day & they will get used to the new food & the new routine

It's certainly a possibility, there was a story that appeared in the news in the UK about a Gourami that ate nothing but Kit Kats & wouldn't touch anything else. Let me see if I can find the link...
