Hi everyone

I am new to this forum and to fish keeping. I been doing a lot of reading and have learned a lot already from everyone.

I have started with a 10 gallon freshwater tank (wish I would have gone bigger right away).

It's been 5 1/2 weeks. For the last 1 1/2 weeks my readings have all looked good.

ammonia 0.0
nitrite 0.0
nitrate 15.0 to 20.0
ph 7.8 to 8.0 (I know that is a little high, but my local LFS said our water in this area this is normal)

I cycled my aquarium with fish - 2 dwarf neon guaramis.
Added 2 fancy guppies 1 week ago also.

Well that's the basics. Hi again to everyone

:hi: to TFF!
Sounds like it is a bit overstocked with the dwarfs- quote taken from fish index-
Dwarf Gouramis:
They can live in most tropical aquariums with a pH between 6.0 and 7.5, and a temperature of 72-82F. Overally active tankmates, along with fin nippers, should be avoided. They prefer to have their quiet, along with plenty of space. It is best to keep either 1 Dwarf Gourami per tank, or several. Males can be quite aggressive to each other, so if 2 are kept, they must have a large tank with plenty of hiding spaces. They prefer to have some floating plants.

So I don't think that 2 dwarfs belong in there. Maybe one?
And I've heard dwarfs also aren't very good because they often carry diseases.
