Hi, I've Got A New 2ft Tank, What Shall I Put In It

I've just aquired a 2ft tank with heater, under gravel filter etc, i'm cycling the tank at the moment and would like some advice on what to put in it. I quite like to look of mollies and barbs, any suggestions would be brill.

depending on what barbs i'm thinking no for a small community thank specialy if ya thinkin tiger barbs
heres what i would suggest

5 corydoras pandas are very nice but at 5pound or more each they're a bit pricey specialy as you'll need three plus
3 dwarf gouramis 1m 2f although thats pushing it
3 ottos make sure you dont get chinese algae eaters or the siamese ones
and thats it a nice contrast of colours what with the gourami

Tertras and Guppies are small and nice to look at !

I would choose,

5 balloon mollies,
6 black neon tetras,
3 khuli loaches.

i suggest you go to a LFS or two with a note pad and write down the names of the fish you like then come back here and see if there suitable for your tank, then we can suggest a few from that that are compatable

Bear in mind that Mollies like a little salt in the water, whereas many Trops don't.
