Hi - I'm new

Just introducing myself.

I'm Pippa, Live in the UK and just set my first ever tank up. Currently got 2 dannios in it, waiting a week and then I'm going to get 4 more.

Also planning to have;

some cardinal tetras
guppies
dwarf suckermouth
couple of cherry barb
couple of black molly

I'd love a siamese fighting fish but get the impression from other posts that this isn't a good idea which is a shame!

Hi phillippa42 and to the friendliest forum around.

Don't be put off siamese fighting fish, just do your research and treat them as you would any other animal ie. don't keep them in a jam jar. There are many knowledgable people on here in the betta section who will tell you all you need to know.

What size tank have you got by the way?

Hi everyone and thanks for the welcome.

My tank's 121 litres (27 gallons).

The thing that put me off about the Siamese fighting fish is that I've read on here that they nip other fish.

I've been reading more posts today and started thinking about dwarf or south americam puffers but then read that they're not good community fish either.

So now I think I need another tank for puffers and another for a betta

Hubby would kill me!

Puffer Freak - I used to hate being called Pippa but where I work now everyone just called me Pippa regardless. And now I'm used to it.
