Finaly go around to joining this fab site, so far it has been very useful.

8 months ago i got my first tank, just a 60ltr and bought a few guppies and a bristle nose plec.

A month ago i got my 2nd tank (another small tank) which is now home to 3 female guppies and a baby mollie (the mollie was one of 4 given to me but sadly we lost 3 so we now have a lonely molly who thinks he's a guppy).

After a day of having the females, one gave birth so we now have our 3rd tank which is housing the fry (these are now 3 weeks old).

I am on the look out for a large tank (and trying to get my husband to agree to it) so my bristle nose has more space and we can get the lonely Molly a few friends.

I'm finding fish keeping very adictive and if i could i would have a tank in every room.

Anyway, its so nice to be here and i hope to get some great advice on here xxxx

I am new to this site too :) But I find it interesting to just brows around and read :) I am in the same boat with you about being addicted to this. I used to have a 40 liter tank when I was 16 or 17 years old with guppies and sward tail in it and a huge cat fish. Now I am back to it because of my husband he started a small aquaponics system with a 5 gallon tank in which we have 6 female guppies and one mail and 2 cat fish that are a small kind, no idea what they are, plus some snails. This one is amazing to watch because the fish is getting really big and the male looks great and all the vegetables are also growing like crazy. Then we got a second tank just for fun it is a 20 gallon and we have 3 regular female mollies, 1 balloon male molly, a pair of sward tail, 2 male guppies and 3 fish that from the pet store were named "mystery mollies" because some one dropped them off to the store to get rid of and they look like regular mollies but not exactly, the guys in our pet store think they are some kind of hybrid, they had them for feeder fish but we always chat a lot with them so they gave us 3 of those for free, they were babies but now they are getting big. Oh yes and we have 1 platy in there. Yesterday we set a nursery tank for the fry we found randomly in the tanks... We have 1 baby that is a molly and I am pretty sure it was from the male balloon and one of the bigger females that are regular. I can`t wait to see what the baby will look like when it grows up. So this is my story. We have been spending much more time watching the fish in the tanks than watching TV which is kind of funny but also great.
Have a good day :) :) :)
