Hello there!

Im Bluetooth!

Im a ICT Technician who works for the local government help out local primary schools and high schools. I have been keeping fish probably for a total of 4 - 5 years but had a while off from the hobby while i was at uni and growing up etc.

Im my time i have kept angels, oscars and the usual community fish, however i have a real fancy for oscars but i cant feed that love at the moment due to no space and no big tanks.

Heres what i currently have:

Juwel Trigon 190L

Stocked with:

The Lads (4x Albino Corydoras) 2"

The Other Lads (3x Double Dark Angels) ~2" nose to tail

Big Daddy & The Lil' Lady (2x Convicts) Female ~5" Male ~8"

The New Guy (Green Texas) ~4"

There is also 1x Honey Gourami and 1x male German Blue Ram

I already am enjoying my time here, theres a lot of info inever knew and techniques i never thought of, for sure i have already gleaned my fair share of info

I need a better camera though, my phone doesnt do my fish justice, especially my male convict who is a beast of a fish.

The convicts could be considered centerpeice fish really as the male is unbeleivable, i avent ever seen such a gorgeous specimen =-)

Also i think the guy is quite an old fella as the female just wants to spawn all the time but the old guy isnt really bothered =-)

Right well little update!

I have restocked my tank with something more permanent although i may change it in the future as a lfs has some very.. very cheap discus for sale so this may change again lol but anyway, really quickly the convicts and texas have gone and i have replaced with 5 angels as when i took the convicts out the texas killed one of my black angels, i have added 5 rams (3 female 2 male) but unfortunately one died, i did however replace the dead female today though (ID thread located in the new world cichlids forum)

My precise stocking list is in my sig so without further ado:

And my bargain of the year, my 4" Red Turq Discus that cost me... drum roll.. £12 i may be ditching the angels in favour of these cheap discus but i will wait and see =-)

The plants are a big addition to my tank, away with the fake and in with the real!

Great looking tank, Great looking fish welcome to the forums btw. As per your stocking was wondering how much research had been done before purchasing these fish as i know some of the fish may require different water parameters than others. Im no expert so i wont say anymore i was just wondering what your thoughts were on your selection of stock.
