hi im setting up a 88 litre(uk) tank but not sure what fish to get im also wantin a bristlenose pleco any suggestions of fish?

i think u should go for some guppys mollys and platys... they are very nice looking and easy to care for fish

they are very good for a person who has just started in fish keeping

i looked at some tiger barbs but wasnt sure if they would get to big or no

Do NOT put a pleco in a 23gal (us gals) go for ottos or cory catfish as plecos get HUGEE they produce insane amounts of waste an that just isn't much fun for a beginner. Start with some livebearers like Gytas said, look into tetras as well. Enjoy fish keeping and I wish you many years of enjoyment!!

Tiger barbs get to be around 3 inches.

^^ not true, some plecos will get big but the Bristlenose will be fine.

i wouldn't add tiger barbs really as in my opinion your tank is not big enough for a large enough group, with small groups they get nasty
