hi evryone thank you for all that have helped me already. right so good news first i think well i got the fish in his tank tolast nnight and i already have quite a hefty bubblenest i heard these are good (what do they mean) so yay lol bad news i cant quite get my betta to flare is there something wrong? he seems healty

from my experience.. male and female betas do not flare unless a mirror is placed near them or another betta...

a bubble nest is good.. is basically means hes happy n ready 2 mate.... all bettas dont make bubble nest though.. some wont make them and some will only make then underneath things...

be carefull with the "ready to mate" bit it takes a bi more than a nest to have a male ready to mate. But yes it does mean he is happy so congrats.

Some Bettas are very lid back and don't always flare all the time, it takes them a while to get over the "oh can i be bothered" stage

lol ok well i dont want to breed him yet ill get pics as soon as i can i need to find usban get the cam 2 take decent pics lol i do put morrors there and i really can agree with the can i be botherd stage lol because he gos over to things ang flars at them like heater filter gravel glass bamboo but the second i put the mirror there he looks at me like what do you think am gonna do flare ao something the nutter lol oh by the way nice pun the i cudda dun betta bit lol
