after reading through the rules and topic posting i thought it would bea good place to start 
. i have just been offered a free tank and a red fin cigar shark (approx 8 inches)the tank is 4ftx2ftx2ft, i have been doing lots of research on temps, size and feeding, plants, pumps , filters and lighting, but i seem to get a lot of different reviews on the community aspect of the tropical tank. i have read that barbs, loaches and gouramis can be placed together, i was hoping that maybe someone with experiance of this type of community with sharks could possibly help with some advice. many thanks in advance for information given. : )
