Hi Everyone + Tank Updates

Hi everone, I am Gordon, 38 and live in Manchester, am original from Scotland but moved to Manchester in 1994 and been here since. I grew up having a goldfish, but think this is how most people started off. Loved my goldfish but my father flushed it down the toilet one day, but that was the evil side of him.

Time passes and when i moved to manchester decided to get a fish again, yet again it was a goldie, but soon after that got a few tropicals, but was just a few minnows and an angelfish. I had to give up fish completely as i had itchy feet and kept moving about so having fish was not ideal as takes a lot of effort to transport them.

Its now the end of 2010 and decided to get fish again, i had a 120lt tank and have started using it again. You can follow my adventure of setting it all up on this blog I created.

My male guppy likes to suck the heater and usually does so most of the night. I'm glad that your male platy is doing the same thing as I have read fish doing weird behaviour can sometimes mean something is wrong with the tank. However, now my queries have been answered.
P.S I feed the same fish food to my male guppy and he loves it!
