hi all never been on here until now so thought i would say hi.
kind of new to keeping fish really erm started about 2 munths ago now whist i was living with partner (now ex) her dad was a big fish keeper has 3 tanks 1 marine 2 tropical.
he helped me get a tank and get it started currently the tank has the following fish

1 pleco
4 panda corrys
7 neons
2 platys
2 widoows
4 mollys
about 10 guppys


just looking for some genral info really on do's and dont's and any tips will be very greatfull for any help recived. i wasnt really told any of that he just got on with it and i saw the aftermath of it all.
also in the last 2 munths ive had about 20 guppys and atleast half of them have died also lost a few neons but heard they dont like change all my other fish have been fine.

can also post pictures up of the setup of my tank if you have any advice on that

thanks for the link crazy airbourne theres alot of stuff ive just read that i havnt done which could explain y ive lost so many fish as we set the tank up and 2 days later put fish straight in didnt no anything about testing the water lool

what size is your tank? and do you know what kind of pleco you have? there are a couple of plecos commonly sold that will outgrow the average aquarium, reaching 10+inches. :crazy:

have fun with your tank! you'll find it's an addicting hobby! :lol:
