Hi all, i've been looking at this forum for ages and I thought it was about time that I joined. Everyone seems really friendly and full of good advise

I haven't got a tank up and running at the mo', and haven't kept fish for a good few years, but i've decided that i'd love to get back into the hobby.

My last tank was a two footer with the usual suspects (Tetras, Danios, Rasboras, Corys etc), but this time round i'd like something a bit different so i'm thinking about a using sand as a substrate with loads of rocky caves and retreats with a pair of steatocranus causarius and then having some other fish to occupy the upper levels of the tank (as you can see haven't been researching much yet as can't decide what!) I was thinking maybe a pair of dwarf gouramis buit not sure if they'd get on? still soooooooooo much to learn , i'll bug you all so much you'll be fed up! Sorry in advance
