thanks for the welcome guys and little about the tanks i had and have now, i use to have a 6 foot tank about five years ago with a mixed community including tetra's, livebearers and catfish etc, but i had to let the tank and everything go, and about a month ago i got a lot smaller tank, a 15gal aquarium which at the moment has four platies in there and this is too just get back into it and i am hoping in the future though is to get a larger tank, but for the moment a small tank is well suited to me

Hello everyone I am also a newby today. I would like to introduce myself and my pod! I have several tetras, two angel fish, loaches and some transparent fish I cant remember their names, and in a seperate tank I have an Asian Snail it is quite large about 2 inches in size, is anyone familiar with these snails? He cannot go in the big tank because aparently the loaches would eat him alive.

I have a question for you, would it be harmful to use rain water from my waterbutt to fill my fish tank?? if I use it should I continue to use stress coat with it does anyone know.
