Hello everyone,

I'm Claire and live in Suffolk, England.

About 4 months ago I inherited some fish from my sister's friend who was moving to America.

In the tank I have sand substrate and 3 living plants, (the rest are plastic plants) a shipwreck and a piece of driftwood.

More importantly I have 4 Rasbora's (Harlequins?), 4 silver tip tetras (I think), a glowlight, some cardnials, 1 neon, a kuhli loach and a pakistani loach. All of these fish are guesses only, as I have had to learn as I go along...

Everything was going well until I fiddled with the tank filter which spewed out a load of crud, but thanks to you helpful people on here, hopefully my fish will live and I am certainly developing my fish keeping skills!

Hope the pictures aren't too big!

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Were abouts in suffolk?

Welcome to the forum!

Don't worry about the crud, lol. Just get a gravel vacuum and hoover it all up. They should be about £4 from a local aquatics shop and are essential for keeping your gravel clean.

What size tank do you have?

I think I have a 63 litre tank.

I live near Ipswich.

I have sucked up a heck of a lot of crud with the siphon, now that I have figured out how to use it!
