Just to say hi,been browsing the forum.
I have a Biube Pure with 5 neon Tetras,6 Black tetras and 6 shrimp.I have had this for about 10 months and had no problems.

I am now thinking of buying a Juwel Rio 180.With stand.

Think i will keep the Biube and keep shrimp and a few Tetras i have in it and use the Rio as a comletely new setup. Not sure on what fish yet.
I am not sure on lots of small fish in shoals or some larger fish.

I live in Cornwall. So any local help and information will be much apreciated.

Thanks

:hi: this forum is full of good info, so when u have specific questions let us know and surely u'll get some ideas! Setting up a new tank is all about research! as for a nice group of shoaling fish, look into Harlequin Rasboras, I have 10 in my 90 L and they are great. Very good looking fish as well!

Thanks everyone.

I have been reading a lot of articles on here.

Sure i will have some questions when setting up

Rio 180 with stand arrived today.
Stand built and tank placed on top.
3D backgrounds fitted.
Bogwood is soaking in water.
Gravel will be washed tommorow and put in.

I have also set up a shrimp tank, this is one of my original tanks(20 years old) and is a 2ft3" tank and seems to be about 100 litres,it is a Juwel Gem.
I have about 40+ cherry reds in there and some Crystal reds and crystal blacks, one of the Femails seems to be carrying. So about 50 shrimps in there.I have an airstone to keep the water moving and an old air operated filter with wool in it.Water is crystal clear and all readings are 0.Hopefully the shrimp will start to breed and will fill the tank a bit more.

I still have the Biube pure, this has my Cardinal tetras and Phantom tetras in it,these will go into the Rio 180 once i have the tank cycled.

Will be then filling the Rio tank with friendly non agressive fish.

What fish would you suggest.

Thanks
