Hi everyone! I recently got back into aquariums for the first time as an adult and it's been great. Loving all the info out there and the community seems really helpful and eager to share knowledge.
My current tank is 10 gallons (20"x10"x12") and has been going for about 2 months. Tetra whisper filter and a bubbler in the corner that I have going when I remember to have it on. I don't remember what brand I used for substrate but it was some bioactive gravel something or other, which I capped with smooth river pebbles and some larger river rocks. I have a couple pieces of driftwood and 2 pieces of that dried cactus log stuff (I can't remember the name), and one of those floating Betta hidey things.
I also have a bunch of live plants that I don't remember any of the names of (oops) but no floaters yet- that's next on my list.
There are 12 shrimp inhabitants and I'm going to get an algae eater or two and possibly a snail later today.
That's what I have going on so far but I do have a second tank (3 gallons? very small, don't know exactly the volume) I want to clean/repair and get set up soon.
