Hello!
I've just bought a new aquarium after being out of the tropical fishkeeping hobby for around 14 years, having had a look around my local pet store it doesn't really look like things have changed too much except for these co2 kits for plants. Can someone explain how they work etc please?

hey welcome! CO2 is vital for plants, so in heavily planted tanks we use injected or diffused CO2 to suppliment the CO2 the fish put out (if the CO2 taken by the plants goes above the CO" produced by the fish for example) you're looking to keep the CO2 levels at about 30ppm... hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!
